Leisure Activity Center (CATL)
The Leisure Activities Center (CATL), developed by the Peniche Youth Association is a social response with agreement of cooperation with social security, which welcomes children aged between 6 and 12 years old, who attend the 1st and 2nd schooling cycles.
This service has several aspects: recreational, socio-cultural activities
and pedagogical, transport service
(School - CATL - Home/Extra Activities), study follow-up
and support in child psychology.
CATL is open from 2 pm to 7 pm
and serves as an extension of hours during school periods and, in non-school periods, it works between 9 am and 6 pm.

Easter, Summer and Christmas Activities
During break periods, CATL continues to operate, at a time different from the school period, where we receive our children from 9 am from morning to 6 pm and where we support lunch. Easter activities, summer
and Christmas have several recreational, social and cultural activities and pedagogical, full of animation and fun, but also a lot of learning and knowledge.

INTERNATIONAL PROJECTS
The European Solidarity Corps arises as a response to a need felt among young people in our community. The main objective is to give the opportunity to travel and live abroad, while contributing their time and energy to support local projects and communities.
In addition to volunteering, AJP also offers the opportunity for carrying out exchanges, whether in Portugal or in another country Europe, with the aim
to engage and empower young people to become active citizens
and help them acquire and develop life skills.
Foreign Language Classes
For those who want to learn
or improve a foreign language, the Association has the solution!
Our international volunteers conduct language workshops (eg English, French, Italian and German).
The modules will consist of 25h or 50h, depending on whether the student is attending the basic or more advanced level.
During these workshops, students will have the opportunity to share knowledge and learn a new language.
Cultural Projects
and Environmental
Since its existence, the Associação Juvenil de Peniche has been dedicated to helping its community. In this sense, the Association has a large number of initiatives and causes (supported and financed by Portuguese and European projects) to develop and improve both the culture of the community, as well as the prevention and awareness of environmental causes.
Animation and Events
For all those looking for the ideal party, AJP has a versatile and experienced team ready to act. Weddings, christenings, team building and birthdays for young or old with face painting, balloon modeling and lots of entertainment!
